How the pictures are used

Each picture is one photograph of a real place, cropped for this page and not reused on another page or another domain. A house shows the house. A park shows that park. A tower shows that tower. We do not put a different city in the frame, and we do not stretch one download across two tiles.

Wikimedia Commons files stay under the license named with each one. Pixabay files on the home tiles stay under the Pixabay Content License. We do not paint words onto the photographs. Where a source frame carried a sign, a watermark, a speed numeral, or a door number, the crop stops before that mark.
